Where could delicious South Tyrolean specialties such as barley soup, bacon dumplings or homemade Schlutzer (spinach-filled ravioli in brown butter) ever taste better than in an inviting mountain lodge? Always an excellent choice: our South Tyrolean Snack Platter with bacon and local cheese or a steaming Kaiserschmarren (sweet pancakes) fresh from the pan.
For coffee break we recommend our homemade apple strudel and our legendary buckwheat cake. For lunch and dinner, you may choose from a varied menu – for example game goulash and schnitzel with hearty fried potatoes. And have you ever tried the tasty beef from the Geisler Cow straight from the Villnöss Valley?
All dishes go well with typical Tyrolean wines, homemade elderberry syrup or various fruit juices. Our hay schnapps, pine schnapps, and gentian schnapps are also homemade.
Start the new day full of energy with our breakfast buffet
We also use regional products for our small yet delicious breakfast buffet: For example, we get our fresh eggs directly from the farm Mitterflitzhof in Villnöss. You may also choose from sausage, cheese, jam, muesli, dried fruit, and yoghurt. And wake up your spirits with a cup of tea or coffee.
We are also happy to prepare sandwiches for your backpack (for an additional charge).
