A night in the mountains
Spending the night at the lodge Schlüterhütte is truly an unforgettable mountain experience. Since 1898, the comfortable mountain hut has been the daily destination of many hikers. In the heart of the Nature Park Puez-Geisler, you will be welcomed by a fantastic alpine panorama at 2,306 metres above sea level as well as the genuine hospitality of the hut owners Marlene and Martin and their team.
Arrive – swap your hiking boots for slippers – reflect on the day’s experiences over homemade cake and a refreshing drink – visit the washroom – recharge your batteries with a dinner in the cosy guest lounge – and spend a restful night in your bed in the heart of the mountains.
While complete peace lies over the alpine meadows and the sun sets behind the mountain peaks with a fantastic play of colours.

In our hut there is space for about around 80 overnight guests. There are single, double, triple, and quadruple rooms with and without bed linen. And of course, our traditional mattress camp. All accommodations radiate a warm ambiance with wood panelling and are – as is the alpine tradition – simply and lovingly furnished.
Do you wish to freshen up after a long day in your hiking boots or on your mountain bike? On the floors you will find toilets and washrooms for shared use – as well as several showers. This means you may enjoy real alpine luxury at the lodge Schlüterhütte.
Furthermore, in the morning our small breakfast buffet awaits you with regional products: cold cuts, cheese, South Tyrolean jam, yoghurt, boiled eggs, coffee, and juice – for plenty of energy for your hiking day or the descent into the valley.

What do you need for your
holiday in an alpine hut in Villnöss?
If you have booked a room without bed linen or a place in the mattress dormitory, you will definitely need a sleeping bag. You should also bring towels.
Your hiking boots also take a break at the lodge Schlüterhütte – please bring some comfortable slippers.

Prices remain the same throughout the season.
- Beds with bedding: 52,00 € per person/night with breakfast
- Beds without bedding: 46,00 € per person/night with breakfast
- Dormitory: 41,00 € per person/night with breakfast
- Beds with bedding: 38,00 € per person/night without breakfast
- Beds without bedding: 32,00 € per person/night without breakfast
- Dormitory: 27,00 € per person/night without breakfast
Children’s discount
Kids under 12 years get discounted rates:
- Beds with bedding: 37,00 € per child/night
- Beds without bedding: 32,00 € per child/night
- Dormitory: 28,00 € per child/night
Breakfast (from 7 till 8 am)
- Adults 14,00 € per person
- Children under 12 years 9,00 € per children
Half board is available only for groups of at least 30 people
- Beds with bedding: 70,00 € per person/night
- Beds without bedding: 64,00 € per person/night
- Dormitory: 59,00 € per person/night
Good to know
- Reservations are only valid until 6 p.m. on the day of arrival, unless otherwise agreed.
- Shower coin for shared shower: €3.00 for 5 minutes of hot water
- Dogs only allowed in the rooms (15 € per night/dog)
- No shuttle service
- Free Wi-Fi
For rooms without bed linen or dormitory, the following is required:
- Indoor sleeping bag and slippers
- Towels
Pets
For your four-legged family members we charge 15 € per night/dog.
Please bring your own basket or blanket for your pet. Out of respect for our other guests, dogs are not allowed in the dining room during dinner and breakfast.

Additional charges and terms of payment
Deposit: The reservation will be confirmed once the deposit of 20 € per person is transferred to our bank account.

The deposit is non-refundable in case of cancellation from 10 days before the arrival date. Additionally, the cancellation conditions listed below apply.
Payment: Payment is made on-site in cash or by card.
PLEASE NOTE Due to an unstable internet connection at the hut, we cannot guarantee card payments or bank transfers. Therefore, we kindly ask you to bring cash.
Arrival and Departure
Arrival: You should arrive at the hut by 6:00 PM. If you are arriving later, please inform us by phone.
Departure: On the day of departure, the room should be vacated by 9:00 AM at the latest.
Cancellation policy
Cancellation conditions according to Art. 1382 Civil Code
According to the Italian Consumer Protection Code, there is no right of withdrawal. However, we grant you the right to withdraw according to following cancellation conditions as defined in art. 1382 (Civil Code): At least 10 days before the arrival date, the reservation can be cancelled without paying a cancellation fee. For cancellations made less than 10 days before the arrival date, the deposit will be retained as a cancellation fee.
In case of no-show or early departure, the fee is due in full for the entire booking period.
If there are any changes to the number of participants, please inform us by phone no later than the evening before your arrival date (unless otherwise agreed). Otherwise, we will be obliged to charge the full number of booked spots.
Please inform us in advance if you are unable to start your vacation.
